पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार यह हादसा देर रात हुआ, जब गाड़ी स्वारघाट से बिलासपुर की ओर जा रही थी लेकिन हाईवे पैट्रोलिंग की टीम ने पुलिस को सुबह करीब 11 बजे सूचना दी, जिसके बाद पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और कार्रवाई शुरू की।

हादसे में मृतकों की पहचान संदीप सिंह पुत्र रोशन सिंह, विशाल शर्मा पुत्र संजय शर्मा, महावीर पुत्र रघुवीर गांव मूसेपुर तहसील इंद्री जिला करनाल हरियाणा के रूप में हुई। The deceased were identified as Sandeep Singh son Roshan Singh, Vishal Sharma son Sanjay Sharma, Mahavir son Raghuveer village Moosepur tehsil Indri district Karnal Haryana.
SP Baddi Mohit Chawla ने बताया कि पुलिस ने मामला दर्जकर हादसे के कारणों की पड़ताल शुरू कर दी है और मृतकों का पोस्टमार्टम करवाया जा रहा है।
